Fields of Grain, Songbirds and Spacious Skies~

Theses images were taken on the last day of our journey west, as we traveled through the states of Iowa, Illinois and Indiana, re-entering our state of Kentucky. I was impressed by the fields of grain, the birds that were in migration mode and the beautiful, spacious skies along the way.  I hope that you shall enjoy them as well, and have a very wonderful weekend and SkyWatch Friday.  Be blessed and stay safe and well~

My first ever, glimpse at these gorgeous Yellow-headed Blackbirds...what a beautiful species they are~

Always fascinating how as you leave one state and enter another, it is as if you need no welcome sign, for the landscapes change beautifully, as the state names change~

Fields of Sunflowers dotted the course through many of the states that we traveled through.  I enjoy them and I know that my bird friends thrive on them, as I supply many from the birdfeeders in our garden~

Fields of Indian Corn.  My mother used to have a bouquet shipped to her from relatives in Texas once a year, and tied with a lovely ribbon, she would have them on display for a whole year~
