Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Mosaics Done in White~

Like many of you that may view this, I take thousands of photographs and thank goodness for digital...

Many are stored in folders in one, or both of my photo programs and I have recently been going through them and in one day not so long ago, I deleted over 10,000 images...yes the 0's are correct.
In trying to come up with my next Mosaic Monday entry, I came across some entries that I thought might go well together.  They have been shared on my blog individually over the past couple of years, but they looked different when placed in mosaics done in white...hoping that you shall enjoy them and all Mosaic Monday entries from around the world~

Cowbirds, Catbirds and Naked Ladies...Well Maybe Not~

Please tell me that this is indeed a Brown Cowbird...it looks like a Brown Cowbird, it acted like a Brown Cowbird, it even sounded like a Brown Cowbird, so that is what I am calling it, unless someone tells me differently.  These lovely little brown birds with little flecked chest feathers, nearly all confuse me, but I am pretty sure about this, if not, just correct me, and I shall not feel shamed...much.  Now I am positive the I have also taken photographs of a Gray Catbird as well.  Now on to the Lilies...The dainty pink ones first...some people called them Surprise Lilies, and others call them Naked Lady Lilies...why that name, I have no clue.  I would like to give them my own name...possibly Ting's Lilies, since I have a nice large crop of them every year...yes, indeed, I like that  Ting's Lilies;)  The larger deep orange/red Lilies are in a garden path belonging to someone that I do not know, thus said, I am rather clueless on just about everything today, yet some days, just need to spin out this way, and I am perfectly fine with that. Everyone have a nice day/ evening, whatever the case may be in your part of the world~

Tulips Add a Touch of Colour to an Ordinary Cowbird~

It is truly one of the things that I just get so happy about come spring time...Tulips, such gloriously beautiful and with such gorgeous versatility in colouration and variety. Do they not just seem to be saying a cheerful hello with a nod and a wink...

Brown Headed Cowbirds...hmmm, they are quite lovely to look at, they seem friendly enough, and yet I must always wonder which species got robbed and had to raise their young as well as their own. I saw this male and his mate near an American Robin's nest several times. The female was not as friendly as the male, or maybe she was preoccupied laying eggs in other songbirds nests~

This can cause a nest like a Wren , or smaller species to starve their own young~

These birds are well heard of around here for their bad habit of being a brood parasite... They will lay their eggs in the nest of other birds to be raised by them.  This can cause a nest like a Wren , or smaller species to starve their own young, to keep up the pace of the needs of the Cowbird~
*The darker birds are the males and the lighter phase is the female...
