Upon leaving Wyoming and re-entering South Dakota, I saw this Blackbird while waiting for my husby to make some changes in our trunk carriage. As I waited, I spotted this lovely Blackbird and was taken by it sweet eyes and the sound of it's voice was really neat. It was not until we arrived back home and I had time to look it up to realize that it was a Rusty Blackbird and back in the 1960's it's population had declined by as much as 90%. It was really a delightful little bird to observe, and so glad that I was able to~

Our Meaka is such a great traveling companion for us. She seems to love every minute, so long as she is by our sides~
Yep, it is lop-sided, for I took it out the car window and we were driving a little over 70 and well, it was a fun shot anyway~
Another former Eagle, or Osprey nest~
