It is the evening of Easter Sunday and the family has now left following a very lovely day. Any day spent with family and friends, is just about the best thing that I can think of doing and then comes my wildlife nature photography, after that.
The fragrance of Liacs and Wisteria, waft through the air as a gentle spring breeze stirs their fine perfumes.
I saw my first Yellow Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly and Hummingbird Moth this past week and that is always a welcome sign to spring.

While talking with one of our neighbors the other day, who is one of 3 allowing me access to their property to hawk watch, shared with me a little about the next 2 images. DeAnn's father passed away several years ago, but before he left, he planted some very special ivy vines along the tree below. He also placed this old rusted birdhouse in the arms of the tree trunk and told his daughter to leave it there and one day she would remember and she has never once forgotten. Her father also built the table beneath the tree so that the Gray Squirrel visitors would have a place to eat and rest throughout their day...how sweet~
