Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Two Year Round Visitors~

Nuthatches and Chickadees are always a welcome guest at one of our many feeders.  It impresses me when people do the many bird counts, for I would have no idea how many different visitors we have daily.  I missed a great opportunity the other day when a very young Nuthatch had come to a feeder and I all but reached out and touched it, for I expect it had been born near by and was already use to my presence.  No camera in hand, it was left sitting on a bench whicle I refilled the seed~

"It is my turn, so get a wiggle on, out of here now".

This Nuthatch is not sunbathing, nor is it simply stretching it's wings. It has come to the birdfeeder and has become impatient, so it has spread it's wings, to appear larger and in a non-threatening way, say "It is my turn, so get a wiggle on, out of here now".
