Several years ago, I flew out to visit my husband's Aunt and Uncle for their 50th wedding anniversary. During that journey, I had the pleasure of staying with Bill's family at Lake Tahoe and fell in love with the place.
Bill and I journeyed there 5 years ago, and he too, loved this very special place.
We had planned again this year to visit Bill's Aunt Roz who turns 85 next year, ( he was named after her late husband),and since she lives in Reno, Nevada, we had another chance to visit the shores of this gorgeous place.
Lake Tahoe is one of the deepest lakes in North America and the colour of the water is glorious!

Everyone has one special person in their family, that always turns sour lemons into lemonade and that would have to be for me...Bill's Aunt Roz.
She and I have always gotten along beautifully and she was supportive of me, when some of the rest of the family, were still deciding...
Yes, it is true;')~
A couple of Steller's Jays were also visitors along the shoreline.
I just think they are grand~

A few families and friends had gathered, to enjoy the final days of warm weather.
It not only gets very cold at Lake Tahoe, they get loads of snow that melts and feeds into the lake every winter~
I must say, I really fooled Bill with this image and got a nice giggle too.
It was one of those quick glances and I thought...no way, and sure enough...it was no way a real Bald Eagle, but fake, fake, fake;')~
I took the image of Meaka pup-cub staring at the door, awaiting the return of the master of our little family~
