Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

As Seen From Along a Stream and the River~

Here is in hoping that you shall not tire of my visits to this pond/stream in the bigger city;)
I may have already shared with you, that the pond that I usually take lots of Dragonfly and Damselfly images at, was mowed to the ground and the only thing that remained was pond water and fish.
We have to travel further to get to the pond and stream I am sharing in this post, but I also came upon a whole family of 3 Green Herons there, and to my friend Phil Slade...a huge sigh...this is were I saw the Kingfisher and missed the shot...I will not give up though!
The husby and I have returned to this place twice now, and have not seen that beautiful Kingfisher again, but here is for hoping!
Next time, many more Dragonfly and Damsefly shares, along with birds...got to love those birds!

Remember to double click on the image, to view a larger slide show of the images shared ~

Last week, I had the pleasure of spending some time with a new friend who lives along the Ohio River.
Vicki Bangs is a very talented woman, and I will be sharing more on that my next post.
One of the creatures that frequents her big back yard is this Great Blue Heron.
These images were taken at a greater distance than my 70/300 lens was comfortable with, yet I still liked the artsy look of these and thought that I would share them as well this post~

And one Green Frog ;) closes my post.

Greetings From a Variable Dancer~

Thank you all so very much for your thoughts and prayers, and kind words these past days and weeks!

I am on bed rest today and tomorrow and feeling as well as should be expected.

Let me say it the way I did to those who have called me...

Your child practices her dance steps, her twirls and arabesques, and does it perfectly.
She goes to her big recital, and all of the family and friends are there to cheer her on
and she refuses to go on stage.
You have gone through all of the movements and your child will not perform, even though, you know that she can...

The heart monitor strips have been showing Supra Ventricular Tachycardia events for 2 weeks now.
The surgeon came in before the surgery to explain that he also saw some Premature Ventricular beats occurring in the lower chamber and that the procedure would help this as well.  Some of this is normal in older people, but he said mine was a bit over the norm.

So I went through everything that has to happen before and during and now after any kind of surgery...minor, or major.
The surgeon did his part as well, and then my heart would not be forced into an event, and thus said, the Dr. could not do an ablation of a pathway, that would not perform.

He was disappointed, and that made me as well.
I have to take some medications, a Beta Blocker, and I have to continue to wear the Heart Events Monitor for several more weeks.

It was a long 9 hours in the hospital.  I am home, and I am fine.
This was a little bit of a letdown, but it was always a possibility, and I accept that.
The staff at Baptist Hospital East, the nurses, caregivers and surgeon, were all so very kind and it was at least a pleasant experience.

Thank you again, love and blessings for your weekend~
