We have just returned this morning, after having completed a 12 day holiday journey that took us 4,821 miles. We saw some of the most beautiful scenery, wildlife and a few new birds that I was pleased about. We traveled from Kentucky into Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and into South Dakota, where my first image shares begin.
Every year for the past 3 years, we have gone to the very last road side park, before entering South Dakota. Behind the dog walking area, is a field of wildflowers and the scene is most amazing, and always inspiring. The beautiful Monarch butterflies are making their way from Canada and moving south through the states as they migrate into Mexico and beyond for the winter~
Enjoy;)
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

The Monarch is the best that I've seen. I look forward to your holidays and of course the photos of it.
