Search for Peregrine Falcons Lead to One Light Morph Red-Tailed Hawk~

Peregrine Falcons, the fastest bird in the world resides very close to where we live.  A man made nest chamber was erected at a location about 20 miles from Tingsgrove, and there had been four hatches and four fledged just last week.  My husby, pup-cub and I drove over this morning to take a look-see. The pastoral drive over was simply beautiful and then once at location, I felt hopeful.  I had permission to stay as long as I desired, but the temperatures the past two days has been 94, and the humidity is awful, so we left after a brief visit.  As we were leaving, I caught a look at a beautiful hawk just beginning it's soar and the sun was so bright, I was not certain what I was photographing, but hoped it would be a Peregrine.  It turned out to be a light morph Red-tailed Hawk.   Beautiful all the while~
