Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Female Perched and Getting Harassed~
This week the hen has begun to spend a little more time off of the nest and perches on a branch, or old dead limbs overlooking her single eyas. It is during this time, that the local Blue Jays decide it would be fun to round up their kind and do a little harassing of the hen. She usually takes it in stride, and then sometimes, she gets a wee bit done in by it and then she may strike out at one and dinner is served~
