Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Sweetness of the Hummingbirds and Butterflies~

Oh for the love of Hummingbirds!!!
Ruby-throated Hummingbirds are the species that we have here from Spring, until early Autumn~

This should be the last week, where I will publish 2 posts back to back.
Thank you for your willing participation in helping me get caught up these past couple of weeks.
There would have been a dew more, but yesterday while moving one set of images from Picasa into another folder to back up, our power went off.
I have not been able to find those over 700 images since,  and not sure what all of them were of , but I had edited every single one of them.
A very huge sad sigh!!!
This will be the second of these two posts.
Thank you once again for your visits and kind words.
They give me great pleasure and encouragement.
I may not get to your blog early, but I always finally arrive and I leave comments as best that I can with the time that I have, and would enjoy hearing from those of you that visit as well, for it is always such a pleasure to share.
I said to someone recently in a comment.
I wish that like on Facebook, there were some kind of "like" button at least to where if we are tight on time, we can let someone know that we liked what they shared.
I do like very much what my blogging community of friends share.
This being said, the next couple of weeks, it may be difficult for me to make my visits and comments, but I will be back soon to work on that as best that I can.
In the meantime, thank you for everything~

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterflies were abundant this season, coming often to take in nutrition and minerals, not just sweet nectar~

Juvenile Hummer~

Adult with its lovely red throat, thus their name Ruby-throated Hummingbirds~

This young juvie, had trouble trying to find how to get to the sweetness of the food~

These 2 were buddies all afternoon one day down by our creek.

  6. The butterflies are awesome Mary. I always feels sorry for ones that have a tattered wing, something must have tried to catch it for food.
