Two weeks ago we had a nice snowfall, producing beauty all around us. This past week, we have had summer like temperatures in the eighties! It was certainly a very mild winter, and with spring now upon us, it seems like summer stepped in already~
The beautiful Norway Spruce sits quietly just across the lane from me and I can enjoy the beauty, looking out my kitchen window~
The large tree in the middle is the tree, is just outside my living room window and it is where 6 years ago the Red-Shouldered hawks placed their nest, and every year I hope they return, but not yet ;(~
This was all that I could see of the sun, as it rose from the east, looking onto Tingsgrove from my great room window~
Bill placed a fence around our 2 acres 32 years ago and this old post has seen better days, but I love the way it has weathered many storms and still remains~
Lastly, but not least is my favorite image from the morning, just 2 brief weeks ago. The sunlight coming from the east, as I looked to the west and watched a new dawn dance along the treeline of the grove. It was spectacular too~

ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow shots! Hopefully, those are the last you will see this season.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter skies Mary -- your pictures glow!! I haven't posted my SW yet, but I have some snow in it too (pix sent to me from Oregon)...along with our blue Florida sky.
ReplyDeletegorgeous, mary. nothing better than snow on pines... :)
ReplyDeleteYour snowy pictures have something of a magical quality to them; they are so beautiful and I see what you mean about the light in your favourite image. Given it's about 25 degrees Celsius today, it funny to think there was snow here such a short while ago.
ReplyDeleteLovely snow scenes Mary and I know it looks nice but I'm so glad spring is here.
ReplyDeleteIt is about 25C where I am too and this snow looks nice and cooling!
ReplyDeleteSnow really frames trees well, and you caught it. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteWonderful wintery captures, Mary! The snow is beautiful, but I'm sure you'll be happy to see it move on -- now that you've gotten such great shots!! Enjoy your weekend! Stay warm!
