While visiting with my father-in-law recently in St. Matthews, a Mourning Dove perched upon the fence in his back yard...right outside the kitchen window. I took these images, as often I must, through glass. The Mourning Dove seemd to just desire a nap, and then in flew an American Robin... Kind of like when my 3 daughters were younger and I had a really long day, things had gotten a little bit quiet and I curled up in a corner to take a little nap and without as much as a wink, the front door flew open and in they came with friends wanting milk and cookies. I love the naps, but I really miss the children coming in and making noise. Enjoy your day, your weekend~
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~
