Dr. Martin Luther King spoke in the chapel of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in April of 1961. My father-in-law got to hear him that special day~
My father-in-law Dr. William Rush Cromer, Jr, taught at SBTS for 43 years, so it holds a very special spot in his lifetime of memories~
My middle daughter graduated from her LPN classes the other evening from the same stage where Dr. King had spoken and where Dr. Cromer led many varied services while teaching~
All of this said, while getting ready to enter the chapel for Brittany's graduation ceremony the other evening, I was touched by the beauty of the sunset and how it played with the lighting on the steeple of one of the other buildings near by. There was an archway of trees that ran along a path and I was able to sneak my lens in just right to catch the sun as it set in the west and then in perfect timing it was time for the graduation ceremony to begin~
Those will be the images that I share with you for this SkyWatch Friday entry, along with one of my daughter Brittany, and one of her flanked to her left by Dr. William Cromer, and to her right, my husby Bill~

Congratulations to Brittany for this feat. We are in need of medical people especially LPNs and RNs, the front liners.
ReplyDeleteThe sun is shinning and glowing in its jubilation!
