I know, I am bad, must be just a miserable thing when I come up to a hawk and begin snapping images, just when they are about to snap up their meal for the hour. In my own defense though, once I am done with my snaps and they fly off, for the most part........ the most part mind you, I am good and allow them to go on with their routine. A Mockingbird was well, mocking this beautifuil Red-tailed Hawk and the hawk seemed rather taken by my camera, so I did snag a few nice images before it had enough of both the Mockingbird and myself~
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

ReplyDeleteNice shots! He is a beauty. I love the flight shots!
ReplyDeleteWow wonderful and I agree with Bob about the taking off of the hawk... Well done Mary, your patience was rewarded...
ReplyDeleteInteresting shots mary, especially the way the Mockingbird is watching the hawk. Do Mockingbirds mimic the calls of Red -tails?
