Yesterday for one brief moment my post stated Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, for my Red-bellied Sapsucker post. I edited it promptly, however it may have gotten through the networks wrong. So...here is my Yellow-bellied Sapsucker post for today, for real ;) There was a light snow falling and I could hear the gentle mewing of this delightful bird as it took in as many Honeysuckle berries as it could. It came back several times and this set had the best lighting, so I shall present them first~
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

What an adorable little guy. I have only seen 2 around here, and I think they can be very elusive. Excellant pictures.
