Of the many songbirds that visit our home, the Dark-eyed Juncos are some of my favorite little visitors. Their piercing dark eyes, they sweet way they look when all huddled down in feathers for warmth their lovely colour variations, their sweet appeal, all make them stunning little chaps~
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

ReplyDeleteI've never seen the dark-eyed junco with my own eyes but have discovered it on the web... A beautiful species which seems to be not so easy to take picture of because of the contrasting feather pattern. but you did it well and I especially love the last one!
ReplyDeleteAre you getting snow now Mary? The lovely little Junco with all that grey and black plumagesure stands out in the whiteness. Have a great weekend.
