Migrating Monarchs travel down from Canada on into Mexico every September ending. These were taken at the same location that we first saw this amazing field of wildflowers and Monarchs last season at the Iowa/South Dakota border. Among the Monarch Butterflies, I also caught a couple of images of a beautiful Hummingbird Moth as well as some Red Milkweed Beetles.
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Wow the three last shots are awesome. This is a beautiful butterfly and you got him well!
ReplyDeleteMonarch seems a very apt name for such a beautiful butterfly - like a stained glass window with shades of orange and red. Thanks for sharing Mary.
