Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

At Last~

This was my 4th visit to the Rocky Mountains National Park in recent years and every time I miss my first viewing of the male Bighorn Sheep. Last season I saw some females and their offspring in the Badlands National Park, but I had always hoped to view and photograph the big boys. While driving thru Custer State Park in South Dakota, a few cars had pulled along side the road. This usually means something has been spotted, and for me, it is most often buffalo, and or elk. This time, it was 4 handsome Bighorn Sheep rams and they were so close and so handsome, and I could not have been more delighted~

  2. Oh these Big Horn Sheep are marvelous. Would you mind if we used a couple of them for our new Art Challenge on my Art Blog? I would give you credit for the photo, and link back to your blog.

We are doing a variety of animals for the challenge this time, and your photos would be a great addition.

Just let me know if it's OK, if not that's find too. I understand.
