Does anyone not just love Hummingbirds? I adore them and look forward to their company every season. This is first season in many years, that they are not visiting my sugar water feeders, much to my chagrin too. You see, I had several of them hanging and one by one every night wither they were being emptied, and, or glass ones broken. And whom might be the culprits/culprits...of course the same ones that break havoc among the young hawks, Raccoons. I know they are cute and furry and fun, but personally, if I never had another racoon walk through my yard, I would not complain, yet they come every night. I finally took down all of my feeders, and must enjoy the hummers from the flower gardens of my kind neighbors~
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Although raccoons are around all winter, I don't see any trace of their visits to my patio in the summer. My nectar feeders have been safe so far. I always love seeing hummers feeding from flowers. Great images!
