Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Female Whitetail Skimmer and Water Reflections~
The little hole that became a pond, has such interesting things in and on it. This female Whitetail Skimmer took a respite in the sun and the morning glow on the water made for an interesting colouration as well as the life from under the water created lovely ripples and movement for what I thought to be interesting water reflections as well~

I think it is easy to say, where there is water there is life, all sort of life and your post is kind of a proof to that. Beautiful insect you got, but I also love the water pictures.
