Images Taken July 5, Before First Flight Day~
Yesterday I was so thrilled that the young one had flown that I had to skip a few great images to celebrate flight day. This morning I could hear the young one from a good distance away and could not believe where it had gotten to, it's first night out last evening. It was 5 acres from nest tree and 3 acres from Tingsgrove. I was able to watch the adult female bring it a meal and the images shall be forthcoming and most probably dark, as I was in a huge patch of poison ivy as I was and treading softly and could not manage any other positioning, less I end up with more of the dreaded rash, which I am just recovering from~

ReplyDeleteIt has been a pleasure to follow your progress with the hawks mary. I look forward to seeing the next pictures with the female bringing in food to a newly flown youngster.
