One of my images has been chosen to go in the new Morgan Stanley Smith Barney brochure for The Madison Group. What a delightful day to get to view one of my own images tucked neatly inside these lovely and informative brochures~
The Broadway Fountain pictured above was presented to the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition by the Republic of France in 1876. It was purchased by Indiana Order of Odd Fellows and presented to the City of Madison in 1886. The fountain was originally cast in iron and by the 1970's was rusting away after weathering the elements for nearly one hundred years. Phil McCauley, Senior led a determined community effort to have the fountain fully recast in bronze so that it's beauty would be restored for the Bicentennial celebration in 1976 and enjoyed by future generations.
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~
