Sometimes when I go out birding, I come upon other interesting creatures. I had once raised and released a few Red Fox Squirrels, and out of the over 70 total squirrels raised, this species was my all time favorite. They are much more docile than our Gray Squirrels. When searching for some birds, I came upon this beautiful male. He was happy to pose for a bit while he ate his nut, then he tired of it and went running along the fence row, before leaping up into his tree. Truly some of my happiest rehab and release work was done caring for these delightful critters~
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

What a funny "guy"... you really got the sense of feeling of him and achieved a very nice timing in all of them! Really enjoyed it.
