Today, I needed to be away from the grove and I needed to still my thoughts about the hawk nest failing once again, through the ways of nature, as well as the lacking of care of human kind. I had told this land owner that the first two weeks were the most difficult as far as human encroachment and I felt that the gentleman understood and would help the situation...I was so very wrong!
Thus today, I went in search of another hawk...a Sharp-Shinned and rather it found me before I found it. It would fly around a large Dogwood tree and fly toward me and then did this a few times, before giving way to allowing me to stay. The images are not grand, yet they are something to share~
Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteYes definitively something to share. I'm amazed you can almost see hawk at the demand! incredible.. And you are getting pretty good pictures of them. Well done once again and thanks for sharing.
Very good front profile shots Mary, it actually looks quite dumpy from that view but aren't the wings so slim?
ReplyDeleteIt should have been an exciting experience. Neat flight compositions...Thomas
