Now That is a Red Head~

What a lovely young juvenile Red-bellied Woodpecker came to visit me today.  The colourations were fresh and brilliant and the red of the head was just fantastic with the starkness of winter.  They may be naughty on our grove in that as I often share, they like pecking on our three story wooden home, especially when it is nest building season, which may be twice in a season, yet they are friendly and gorgeous all the same~
