Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Two Species, Two Days, Two Lakes~

My vacation images are finally winding down, and I had wanted to firmly ID one of the birds before posting it, and I am pretty positive that it is an immature Double-crested Cormorant.  Though it is difficult to tell from the images, the ducks were a pair of Mallards. I took both sets of images while visiting the Dakotas~

  2. I'm sure you are correct at Double-crested Cormorant Mary - easier if they weren't continually diving underwater. I hope you have a great weekend but its Saturday evening here now.
