Young Blue Jays having problems, adults giving me same~

Whenever I see a young fledgling on the ground, I always allow the parents to do their thing to encourage the young ones to take up their strength and do what they must to get up in a suitable and safer location. The other day, as I was returning from the hawk nest site, and stopped along our creek. There on a tree limb that touches the deepest part of the creek was a young Blue Jay. The adults were feeding it and then disaster was about to happen, as the little one hopped down to a lower branch that would be most assuredly a dip in the deeper water. The parents were frantically yelling at, and it was dumbfounded as to what to do. That is when I took charge and moved the young one to a tree branch, all the while I was trying to help, the adults were flying so low, I felt the air of wings as they passed over, but I never worried about it, just did what I needed to do at the moment. There were two of these young ones and I am not certain, but it seems there was only one by next morning and it was doing well~
