Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

He is the mighty hunter, and she is the lovely maiden who allows him her favor, so long as he cares for her properly~

Nature has it set in quiet perfection and each species has throughout the ages done the same. For these the male first presents the female with a meal, and most of the time allows her to partake of the meal before copulation occurs. Other times, he hurries her and copulation takes place before she gets to finish her meal. Any way, the meal is presented, they mate and then he looks adoringly at her for a brief few moments and then it takes place all over again. He is the mighty hunter, and she is the lovely maiden who allows him her favor, so long as he cares for her properly~

  3. Great pictures of the activity. It is amazing how things happen in nature. Maybe man learned from the birds - some men.

  4. Wow, does this make you a Peeping Photog? We had a pair of Red Shoulders at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve too this afternoon, calling and chasing each other around.
