Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

By Nature, this Robin knew another storm was coming and gathered Sumac berries for nourishment, as the winds began to blow hard~

A few of our American Robins' stayed behind to over winter here and it has become a difficult thing to gain nourishment in the heavy snows we are receiving. By Nature, this Robin knew another storm was coming and gathered Sumac berries for nourishment, as the winds began to blow hard. Within a couple of hours, we received 8 new inches of snow and more is coming over the course of the next week~

  2. Mary, the birds are soooo beautiful. Sorry about all the snow; perhaps our warmer temps having moved onshore can find its way toward you in the next several days. Hope you had a nice Valentine's weekend. I'm off to plant more seeds while the sun is shining. ;) Diana

  3. I love the behavioral shots of the robins eating their berries. I have not seen them eat sumac before. Very nice.
