Cardinals and Crabapples~
Cardinals and Crabapples, anything in common, well their colourations are similar, and though I have never seen a Cardinal up in a Crabapple tree, I imagine that they would welcome the rotting fruit for nourishment as well. By the way, that is a snow covered roof as backdrop to the Crabapple tree. We got our first snow the other day and I took a huge gallery of images that I must get to soon~

ReplyDeleteHi Mary, I think Cardinals can make short work of crab apples with their strong bills and a bright adult would disppear in that red background. In Canada we called them "Vicius grippius". By the way try garlic for your circulation and chilblains although husby might not be too amused.
