It seems that we have two Yellow-shafted Flickers visiting the grove on a regular basis now. They really are fun to watch in the snow. One of them would get behind a drift of snow and sort of use it like a fort's wall to watch for any territorial warriors and then once the field was clear, it would move forward and then begin digging into the snow, along the wooden barriers of the patio area. The second one seemed to enjoy the view as it chilled out in the empty plant holder. The images are not the best, yet I wanted to use them. They were taken from inside the patio door glass windows, onto the sun drenched snow~
awesomme....really awesomme...........
