White-throated Sparrows bring such a delight to us in the winter, for they are along our entryway, garden gates, feeders and shrubs all day and are such welcome visitors. Both colour morphs are seen here. We place several feeders out with seed, and some suet. Whenever we have left over hotcakes, stale rolls and breads, even fries, popped corn, I toss those out for the wildlife, even fresh cranberries are a nice addition, though they look rather nice in the snow, none are usually taken~
Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteThe whole set of pictures is marvelous! This is a fantastic bird and you got a quite nice atmosphere with all this snow!
