In the state of Kentucky where I live, we have a couple of species of vultures. These photographs capture an American Black Vulture that was hanging out with it's own kind as well as several Turkey Vultures high in a Sugar Gum tree. They have a five foot wing span, which is small compared to other species, and it eats carrion, as well as eggs and newborn animals when opportunity strikes~
Beautiful pictures, Ting!!
