We are having a bit of warmer weather, but it was only a few days ago that we had snow and temperatures that were freezing, creating ice covered creeks and ponds. These doves were in various places of the yard and while very cold, they were seemingly content in their world~

Hello, Mary! We do love the doves, but they are yet to be seen around here. Likely I will hear one some morning before I see them. I hope you are having a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteThey are very adaptive birds.
ReplyDeleteGreat photographs Mary.
Costas
hope the warmer weather sticks for you guys! Love the dove, the first and last photos are my favs :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the Mourning doves. The Eurasian collared doves have started replacing our Mourning doves here. They are more noisey and poopy than the Mournings.
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
Such beautiful images!
ReplyDeleteThese doves used to come and sit on the railing of our wooden deck back in DC. I strew birdseeds there, they seemed to like them. I love their warm soft color.
