I came across a very large Snapping Turtle that would have taken these little goslings down for dinner and also made certain that it was taken to a nearby pond, where there were no baby goslings, or ducklings~
You know spring has arrived when baby ducklings, baby bunnies and baby goslings arrive. This little family was crossing a two lane road and I took images while making certain that they made their way safely and then down to the little pond they were headed for. Later, I came across a one very large Snapping Turtle and a smaller one that would have taken these little goslings down for dinner and also made certain that they were taken to a nearby pond, where there were no baby goslings, or ducklings~

ReplyDeletethis post reminds me SO much of my parents backyard (one of my favorite places). I miss spring there so much - N. CA spring just doesn't compare! I love the babies and the snapper too. I know they get a bad rep (and i know they've been responsible for eating some of my baby ducks in the past) but I still love seeing these guys and think they are so cool looking. Love the up close and personal shots! How'd ya move him?
