Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

From the Ocean to the Wetlands~

It was a wonderful journey to Florida in February and I have enjoyed sharing the images, but this post will end series.  I hope that you who have joined me, have enjoyed them.
This past week was my daughter's huge event for Be Strong and the STOP bullying crisis.  I will be sharing the images for that and newsy news from it next week at this time.
I will allow the labels and images to form the story~

  7. Visiting Florida with you during the past few weeks has been wonderful, I've seen so many beautiful things through your eyes. Although your wildlife shots are outstanding as always, this week my personal favourites are the ones taken by your daughter and you at the beach, that sky is amazing.
Where are we going next time, Mary????

  8. Hi Mary. I'm always amazed in reading NA blogs, especially those based in or visiting Florida. There are just so many nature reserves that it hard to appreciate how many. Of course I must remeber that Florida is a huge state as well as being blessed by ocean on so many sides. Your photos on this post are just so artistic, drawing in the birds' surroundings, espeailly so the Tri-coloured Heron. Very special.

By the way I hope you received the photo I PM'd to you?

  9. I know you kept your camera handy the whole time you were here! There's so much to see...usually you can just look up in the sky! Love your photos. I wondered about one of them, but now I think it's a soft shelled turtle neck and head. Hugs, Diane

  13. Your pictures are so gorgeous Mary.... I love the way you got good pictures of the tri-colored with its neck out and in (you know what I mean) .... they looked like different birds to me when I first saw them like that. This post perfectly shows why we fell in love with Florida -- not the Florida that most people think of who haven't been anywhere but Orlando or Miami.

  15. Hi Mary,

This Florida series has been such a treat. You have taken us to so many wonderful places, shown us the wildlife of the sunshine state, its landscapes and waterways. And today, seeing you wandering amid the waves, well, I get the feeling that you will truly miss it.

Such tranquility in the photo of the pier and playfulness among the feathered lovelies. The whistling ducks and moorhens are adorable. The tri-coloured heron, in the second last photo makes for an interesting portrait.

Thanks for sharing, my friend. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

    Hugs,
    Poppy
