Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Spring Blossoms and Songbirds~

Above are Bleeding Hearts~

First off, I want to thank everyone for their encouraging words last week, per the whole Google thing, and yes, some how, some way, back whenever, I must have clicked some button and have Google +.
So now you know the rest of the story and I fear switching back would lose everything and so, I have to deal with it...

Lots of Spring flowers and tree blossoms have been adorning my yard and the town around us and so I am sharing a spot of colour along with my Eastern Bluebirds and Robins this week.

Sadly many Eastern Bluebirds did not survive this past harsh Winter.
Even the neighbor across the lane from me found 5 adult birds dead in one of her Bluebird boxes yesterday.
She had wondered why they had not returned, but they had, and then we got the final deep freeze cold snap and final snow and it took them~

  5. So many spring blossoms here to savor : ) My crabapple is blooming just now but not the lilac...everything is a bit behind here ( Western Pa ) A rather chilly and rainy spring thus far!

Beautiful bird captures as always...love the sweet little bluebird! :)

  10. Fun photos of the robins and gorgeous spring blooms. I have been wanting a redbud, but they rarely survive here and so I am envious of the ones covered in flowers you've shared.

  11. Love all your beautiful photos. I tried google+ and didn't like it so I switched back with no problems at all. Then I found I could combine my regular blogspot profile with google+ so I could keep the original settings but still comment on those blogs that require google+. 13. Hi Mary,

Your beautiful photos of the stars of the season, the lilacs, the blossoms and all the other pretty petals, along with the birds have brought spring to my screen and before my eyes, as it has yet to make its formal debut here in southern Ontario! All the mosaics are breathtaking, bursting with colour and life!

Thanks so much for sharing these wonderful features of spring!

    Have a fantastic week!

  15. Your Spring flowers are so beautiful ... they bring happy tears to my eyes (I can almost smell the lilacs, I swear)! I just hope there are a few spring blooms left when we get back to Oregon.

I am so sorry about the poor frozen blue birds (that part brings a different kind of tears) but the pictures you show are wonderful -- as are the robins. Happy Spring.

I wish we had that sweet little blue bird over here!
I imagine this is where "the bird blue of happiness" comes from.
Your photos of the Spring flowers are so artistic - please make some greeting cards Mary, anyone would love to receive these.

  21. In all the time we've lived here in South Texas, I've only seen ONE bluebird. I'm so jealous.
Love the robin in the nest too. Sweet.

Mary, your Spring flowers are stunning.

  22. Hi from Menorca. Such a terrible story about the Bluebirds that shows how Nature can be so cruel. But compensation in the form and colour of your stunning spring flowers and Robin in the best of health. Have a wonderful weekend.
