Happy Easter And A Spring Snow Shower~

~Happy Easter~

I hope that everyone who celebrates Easter, had an amazing day with family and friends.
Last week, Spring began and of course, we had a nice little bit of snow fall.
Turning 3 months old on April 9, Silvie and all of nature enjoyed the day of snow too!
Can you see her catching snowflakes with her tongue and a little further down, you will see a Downy Woodpecker, doing the same thing;')
The Gray Squirrels seemed to be enjoying themselves, chasing around on the snow covered tree branches.
The American Goldfinches and House Finches appeared to be like fine jewels that showed off so beautifully in the falling snow.
It was all so beautiful and by afternoon, it had all melted into the already soaked ground.  We may get some snow this week also...so much for Spring like weather, but I do not mind, so long as we do not get Tornadoes...now those frighten me very much.
Have a happy week!

  5. Mary, Silvie is so sweet! What a cute little furry pup. Beautiful photos of the spring snow and all the birds. Our snow is gradually melting and I hope we don't get any more. I have heard that the robins have returned here and that's exciting to me. I keep watching every day for them. Have a great week! Hugs, Pamela

  6. You know the star of your photo show today Mary, that gorgeous little puppy of yours. Looks like your Spring is slow arriving as ours is and while we haven't had much snow just here it is very unseasonally cold. The colours of the House Finch and Goldfinch really stand out against the falling snow and all your birds look they are waiting for a spot of sunshine. Enjoy your week ahead and let's hope we can all enjoy some warmth soon.
