  2. Oh, those images are so lovely, some of them look like antique engravings. The first one is out of this world, it makes me want to ask what camera and setting your were using, so difficult to catch snowflakes like you did!

Stay warm and Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours,
    Merisi

  4. For those who view this post... Merisi asked me about the camera and setting I used. I use a Nikon D-90, with a 70/300 lens, hand held, even for my macros. For all of the images, including the ones on Tingsgrove, my camera was set on action...I had forgotten to change it. The images that show the snowflakes the best and almost look black and white, were taken as my husby was driving on the Interstate during the snow storm. They were taken through glass and I thought that they turned out kind of fun. Thank you again for your kind comments, for I so appreciate them~

  14. Those are gorgeous photos! We were supposed to get an inch of snow that same day, but it stayed to the north and we just got a little rain.

  15. Well my first thought was "Poor Mary - stuck in that snow storm". Naturally you turned it to your advantage and came up with a brilliant set of shots again, putting them together in your inimitable style. Great work Mary. Go and enjoy your weekend now.
