I was busy getting a few images of the view and the red house and then as we got closer, what I thought was sage brush, turned out to be sheep...hundreds of sheep and lambs and one single special calming companion...wearing a large bell...their friend, the Burro~

On the far eastern side of Yosemite National Park, we stayed in lodging along Mono Lake in California. It was really very lovely there, so peaceful and quiet~
I like the burro hanging out with all the sheep! Kinda hard for him to hide. LOL! Gorgeous scenery! That's a beautiful place to take photos.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of sheep! Great photos. The ones of the lake are really beautiful. It looks like a peaceful spot. Donkeys will also keep coyotes away from herds or flocks. They kick pretty hard. They are used around here because of coyotes. Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that is quite a large flock of sheep! They sure are sweet looking. I like their burro friend. Such stunning views of Lake Mono and the surrounding mountains. Breathtaking photographs!
