Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Learning Life Lessons~

Late Saturday afternoon my next door neighbor came over to say that a hawk was in their garage.
By the time I walked through the woods with Dorothy, her husband Steve said that it had flown out and up into a nearby Cedar tree.
While doing so, it had heard a bird outside of the garage and kept hitting at the inside window of the garage.
It was a beautiful young Cooper's Hawk, and the bird was keeping the lower protective lid over both eyes up, but mainly on the left side.
A few weeks ago, Dorothy had let me know that one afternoon, when her husband had arrived home from work, a hawk had hit the bedroom window and when he looked out, the bird's head was spinning round and round and then finally slowed down and the hawk was able to fly away.
I am so thinking that this has to be the very same young Cooper's Hawk.
I checked on it Sunday morning early, and it had flown away and so that was a good thing...
I hope~

Fun with images of our youngest daughter Ashleigh, who arrived home week before last, after being away for over 7 months.
She lives and works out of Los Angeles, California.
Her business partner had shipped her new headphones and she was extra, super excited about them and so I took some fun images of her and edited the same way, that I thought she was feeling...
Happy colours;')~
She gets to spend the holidays with us, and for that we are very excited...the whole family together for the first time in a long time!
Yeah~

  11. Oh my, I sure hope he is OK! I love birds and it is so hard to watch them when hurt. We have some that hit our bay window, I have seen some of them fly away afterwards and others that it kills...so sad to see. Thanks so much for sharing. Beautiful photographs by the way!

Thanks for visiting and for your sweet comments, hope to see you again soon!
