Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

A Share of the County Where I Call Home From~

It is such a wonderful place to be, near so many beautiful horses in country that just seems made for them.
I took these images back the beginning of September and meant to share them before we left on our journey, but we just got too busy.
These young ones were all so beautiful out in the field with the maresand they were all looking in my direction and felt at ease and then a large truck drove by and frightened all of them away...oh well, it was a nice brief visit all the same~

The cooler weather has now arrived and the flies will not be bothering the wildlife so much.
The facial covers will be removed and horse blankets will be seen throughout horse country all too soon.

Most of the young fawns have just about lost all of their spots and are doing really well.   This was a piar of twins, but the doe was higher on the hill and I could barely see her.

We live in Oldham County and it has much wealth on the Northern portion.
Here are a couple of the homes listed for sale and also a few fortunate riders, who did not mind my stopping to photograph them.

Cheers to them and cheers to each of you.
Enjoy your weekend, stay safe and take care~

  2. What lovely countryside and beautiful horses and wildlife! The wetland around the pond looks so green and dense, I bet there are quite a few frogs hidden under those leaves!
