Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Chasing the Sunrise~

Several days ago, I was en route to market, when I could see the sun rising and from about a mile away, I could see that it was going to be one beautiful showing.  When this happens and I am fortunate enough to be out and about and not low in the valley where I live, I like to do this.  I have to chase the sunrise, so to speak and every minute counts, as you all know, it changes quickly.  There are 2 stop lights between me and the heavy morning traffic to get through and one has no left turn green arrow light, and that is exactly what I have to do to make it through on green

  1. Wonderful Mary. I too love to chase the sunrise on the way to the market but even though it is all country driving, at the perfect spot for a photo, there is nowhere to pull over.

Definitely a great start to your day!

  5. Well that sunrise was almost worth a traffic ticket Mary by running the red light! Only joking. But early morning is definitely the best time to be up and about. It gets light here at about 0530 now and soon 0400, thats 3 or 4 hours before most folk's eyes open.

  23. Incredible. It's photos like these that make me wish my eastern view didn't include the neighbour's home over the back fence and the rest of the city beyond that!
