Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Watercoloured Snow Sky~

On March 5, we actually had a nice snowfall, albeit all 4 to 5 inches of it depending on where you live...
The lane shown in this series is the lane that I take out of my area called Borowick Farms to go to market, to town, to the big city, or to visit other country lanes in the county.  I live in one of the largest counties in the state of Kentucky, and also one known for many horse farms.
With quite a lot of rain for this winter's season, things are greening up faster, as well as trees, shrubs and flowers are showing their spring blossoms a good month in advance of what they would normally show. With the rain also comes pockets of dirty looking streams, as the creeks and ponds flood over and get muddy.
A nice little snowfall always seems to clean up those scenes and it looks like all of nature becomes clean and pristine and the skies look bluer and there is a gentle quiet that comes about, that may not always be seen, heard, or felt on this same drive, any other time.
The skies looked as though they had been watercoloured and I loved the hues shown on this drive into town, and I hope you will enjoy them as well~

  6. From spring flowers to snowy scenes. Isn't the weather capricious? I do enjoy snow and you've captured some wonderful shots. But I'm glad spring snow tends to disappear quickly.

  8. Stunning shots Mary and I can't believe you still have so much snow. Those quadruple mosaics of the horses are just brill. It looks so nice you may not want the snow to go away just yet to be replaced by spring weather.

I love these images of the snow, and the horses, and the roads leading you and making you want to follow. So beautiful, especially as I don't have snow where I live and we are still in summer it seems.
