What's Wrong Little Sparrow?

Awe...I hope that this little Sparrow was alright!  After going to the drugstore, I saw several House Sparrows partaking of wild grass seeds.  The one little Sparrow just seemed to have something wrong with it.  I have seen this in birds that have a head injury and yet, when I turned back to check on it, it had flown away, so I am hoping that it was maybe just taking a moment to ponder, as I often do myself,  just maybe chilling~

  4. If the sun is especially bright and the rays penetrating you will often see birds exposing the underside of their wings (the armpit area) to kill the lice.

  5. He's definitely leaning to the left. Maybe he's a Democrat. Nicely captured though.

  7. That's what they look like after flying into a glass window. In this photo it's almost as if the wind has been knocked out of him.

  11. It looks like the little sparrow may have bitten off more than it could chew Mary but as you say I'm sure it was soon ok. By the way I hope you aren't in the path of Irene, but stay safe and have a great weekend.
