Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Ruby and Red~

The neighbors have me caring for their wildlife, and or, pets and gardens while they are away again.  Soon, it shall be me whom shall be taking holiday, but until then, I am trying to keep myself  busy.  This morning, I had completed my chores and spotted something up in the tree above me.  It was one of the few Ruby-throated Hummingbirds that I have seen this year.  Every year for many, they have come to my feeders, but not this year...  I was so pleased when I saw this one and got a few captures before I had to leave to come back home.  It was waiting for me to leave the area of these beautiful red Wax Begonias~

* Note the leaves on trees are beginning to look awful due to the hot, mostly dry weather we have had lately~

  1. A beauty of the Hummingbird. You're lucky to have the hummingbirds.

  2. Amazing shots of that tiny little bird. You have a good eye. I don't know if I would have even seen him.

  3. I wish they could come to Hong Kong every year! Lovely to see the photos though!
