Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

The Garden Obelisk and The Peacock~

A couple of things...we are having near draught conditions, so very dry here. I water my gardens a few mornings a week. The other day when my favorite cat Chloe' Laurel was put down, I decided that the side garden nearest my bedroom window, would be the perfect resting place for her. The ground was as hard as a brick, and the shovel was not going to budge, and yet, I liked this spot for her and so I determined to make it work. She adored looking out my bedroom window into this part of the garden, and thus my mind was made up. I turned on the water sprinkler and then allowed the water to do it's work in softening up the earth, so as to dig a hole. I left to come in and prepare a few things and when I went back out to check on the conditions of the earth, I saw how lovely the view over her was going to be. The garden obelisk and the water sprinkling, gave me a rush of peace, that all would be well, once the burial was completed. I do not know if you all bury your beloved pets, or not, yet we always do. I added in the Peacock images to give a nice splash of colour. I took the images of this gem at Henry's Ark Wildlife Park a couple of weeks ago~
* Note the Hummingbird feeder which has not been used by the sweet little birds since spring and now they have finally returned~
