Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Come Into The Garden~

Gardens On Tingsgrove and Beyond~

These collage images lack the absolute when it comes to flower names, for while some of these are along the pathways of Tingsgrove, others are from Sue and Mona's gardens.  Even they do not remember the names of them all, but rather enjoy their beauty while they last.  This is the first day of August and the month of July was brutal on Kentucky and surrounding states.  I am certain based on the 90' temperatures set again for this week, that August shall be just as brutal.  The flowers have begun to brown up a bit, in need of a good soaking, so I took these while they were at their peak.  Happy August~

Spicebush Butterfly

Black Swallowtail Butterfly~
Some of the flowers that my be represented in these collages are Wild Phlox, Loosestrife, Violet Wood Sorrel, Pink Cone Flowers, also know as Echinacea , Gladiolus, Bindweed, Wild Petunia, Salome Lilly, Butterfly Bush, Queen Annes Lace, Zenias, Viola, Purple Milkweed, Daisy, Candy Striped Phlox, White Moth Mullein, among others~

  3. Hi Mary, I just read your email response and wanted to come visit again. thanks for inviting me into the garden for a visit - your photos are so crisp and magical. here in Wisconsin we've gotten a bit of relief from the intense heat and humidity of the past weeks. there was no breeze to be found for days and days and it was sweltering. last night we were blessed with a breeze/light winds finally. the air feels dryer today and more comfortable but not by much. I think your husband ought to consider compromise with the A.C.!!! we all need relief now and then. I hope you're having a wonderful week, and thanks again for your response.
