Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Teaching Her Young One the Ropes~

It sure is dark in the woods and I almost missed viewing this little bit of action at one of the bird feeders.  These were taken from peering over the top of an aluminum ladder, and hoping that I would not disturb anything. There was only the adult female and one young fledgling and it was quite the little charming chap~

Adult on the left feeding her single young one...maybe the male was out and about feeding the others~
Female adult on right offering a seed to your young one~

  1. Cracking pictures of the little Downies Mary. You did really well getting them in that poor woodland light.
